Native painted P1853 Enfield percussion rifle with 50 cal. 39ā€ barrel. Stock marked Cooper & Goodman, a firearm manufacturer that was based out of Birmingham, England. Lock is marked ā€œTowerā€ with the date of ā€œ1861ā€ above.

Barrel contains proof marks. The brass butt plate has been stamped with a number 12. Rifle features a full walnut stock, painted in red, black and yellow by a Native American. A great example of an Indian War period rifle. Missing the original ramrod, adjustable flip-up sight and one sling mount.
