Serial number 2021, 24 1/4 in., octagonal rifled barrel, the top stamped "HENRY'S PATENT. OCT. 16, 1860/MANUFAC'D BY THE NEWHAVEN ARMS CO. NEWHAVEN, CT." and with serial number "2021" in front of the receiver, barrel with folding tangent sight and side mounted sling loop; brass frame with area of decorative engraving behind the feed area and stamped behind the trigger "22426"; walnut stock the left side of the butt with carved and red sealing wax inlaid Confederate flag-style device with indistinct letters on the quarters; brass butt plate with hinged cleaning rod compartment containing a four-section steel rod with brass head and slotted end.
