Turnbull 1866 lever action rifle. 26" barrel, .45-90 caliber, manufactured 1886, Serial #8600479. An outstanding quality contemporary reproduction of the iconic Winchester 1886 lever action rifle by Turnbull. Rifle is fitted with a rust blued half octagon barrel chambered in .45-90 with 2-line Turnbull address, bead top blade front sight, and u-notch rear. Receiver features vibrant Turnbull case hardening, along with other trim. Standard 2-piece figured walnut stocks with crescent butt plate. Near excellent condition. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained on the barrel with scattered marks. Case hardening likewise remains vibrant. Stocks have a few dings. Very good, strong bore. Fine mechanics.
